Get ready
- Open Clients to connect an approved AI client. Install the vendor’s app and sign in with your existing account when prompted.
- Follow Connect or Request access for tools that need attention. A team setup does not grant access by itself.
- Open Workflows to find tasks your team has prepared, including their instructions and required tools.
Install a workflow on your Mac
In Passport Desktop, open Workflows, choose a published workflow and supported client, then review the instructions and local changes before installing. Managed workflow skills support Claude Code and Codex. Restart or reopen the client if it has not picked up a newly installed skill. Passport keeps the workflow in its own skill folder. It preserves your other skills and refuses to replace a managed file you edited yourself. You can review an available update, restore the previous installed version, or remove the managed skill. Your client still needs its normal Passport connection and vendor account. Installing instructions does not bypass approvals or grant new permissions.Use the CLI
With Passport CLI 0.10.0 or newer, sign in to the workspace and list your assigned workflows:--apply to install it. Use --client claude-code for Claude Code. Managed skill installation supports macOS and Linux; the regular Passport CLI remains available on Windows.
When a setup needs attention
- Needs setup: finish the indicated connection or installation step.
- Blocked: use the existing access request process or contact your workspace admin.
- Locally modified: move or restore your edited managed file before applying an update. Passport preserves the edit.
- Interrupted setup: review the workflow again and retry. Passport uses its recovery record to finish safely.
